What’s in a book? What is a book?

American Bibliography looks at Presidential biographies and other books of merit through a different lens. Books come to us through research, writing, printing and selling. Our goal is to consider what it takes to place history into our hands — highlighting authors, historians, booksellers and publishers — while keeping our sights on what we can learn from the “making” of history. Along the way, we will uncover the stories behind the stories and hopefully, generate some excitement about the heart of history.

We showcase the Presidents, but only as a vehicle for grasping history and what we can learn from human nature. We are equally enthralled with any topic of relevance to our shared  and diverse human experience.
